Application Security Engineer

Firm:
We are partnering a Fortune 250 firm who are maturing their Application Security program (2 FTE).

Location: Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Locations can either be in St Louis MO, Memphis or NYC. Fulltime/FTE position only.

Responsibilities:

• Secure design and control development/testing for client facing apps
• Running and performing the Static (SAST) and Dynamic (DAST) Application Testing. Tool agnostic.
• Supporting both the security testing through SCA, Static and Dynamic tooling/scanners, as well as making remediation recommendations (high, medium, low) and oversee the tracking of this remediation. Coordinating with different stakeholders.
• Supporting the full Secure SDLC life cycle. Identifying the vulnerabilities within the code base and client facing apps, as well as overseeing the remediation.

Requirements (Must Have):

• 5+ years of combined Cybersecurity and/or Software Development experience (.NET, C# preferred).
• Extensive experience with SAST, DAST & SCA security testing.
• B.S or M.S in computer science or information technology
• Integrity, passion and enthusiasm.
• US Citizen or Greencard holder only

  Requirements (Nice to Have):

• Former software development experience (.NET, C# preferred).
• AWS or Azure experience
• Manual code reviews or penetration testing through Burp (preferred).

  Compensation:
Base salary: $90k-$125k base salary (experience/skill dependent) + performance bonus (~10% paid in March) + benefits
