Position Overview

Agile Business Analyst (Cybersecurity focus)

6 month contract

100% remote

Up to $65 per hour

Green Card holders and US citizens only

W2 only, no C2C

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and security requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with management to refine and manage the product backlog.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Conduct business analysis and gap analysis to identify areas of improvement.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and recommend enhancements to streamline operations and increase productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically on IT security-focused projects.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies, including backlog grooming and user story development.
• Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering and gap analysis.
• Experience working with security teams and understanding security protocols and solutions.
• Experience working on cybersecurity related projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Green Card holders and US citizens only.

Preferred Experience

• In-depth knowledge of various types of cybersecurity, including product security, cloud security, network security, application security and others.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• Experience working with and ideally certified in SAFe 6.0
